Description:Robotech: The Movie was a two issue adaptation of the motion picture that very few fans of Robotech have seen. Due to poor reviews and little if any relevance to the original series, this movie was shelved after being shown around the Texas area primarily. Due to fan demand, a comic adaptation was created by Academy comics which brought the movie to life for a more wide-spread audience.

Granted I have not seen the live movie, this is NOT the adaptation of that movie. What these are are parts one and two of the third 'Super Dimensional' series from Studio Nue. The others being Macross (of course), and Orgus. The movies you see here are Megazone 23 (1&2). There was a part 3 of this series to conclude the story. Why they tried to connect these stories to Robotech is beyond me. Now there was a live movie called 'Robojocks' that I believe was linked as a live-action Robotech movie. But I tend to ignore that rumor.
As for the Super Dimensional series, each are a stand-alone story and should be seen as such.
