I've tried a few decompression programs like UnRARX and the subtitles unpack fine, BUT the ISO files for Flashback 2012 HE Remaster start to unpack well but fail and I get the following message:

Encrypted file: CRC failed in MACROSS_FLASH_BACK_2012.ISO (password incorrect ?)
Total errors: 1

I don't if there's a corrupt file or if it's a problem on my end. I have typed in the password "macrosshare.blogspot.com" but am getting the error for both the ISO files and DVD Booklet for this Macross video.

I will try other RAR-extracting programs to see if maybe it's still a problem on my end.; December 18, 2008 2:54 AM

A program named Zipeg opened up the DVD booklet fine... It's executing the RAR files and opening them in order until the very end and then I get a CRC file.

On the Zipeg website, it suggest this means one of three things -- wrong password, bad download (which one?), or a RAR format not supported by Zipeg.

I'll try another RAR decompressor or two before I give up. Any programs I can use on the Mac to verify whether the RAR files for the ISO actually downloaded correctly without getting corrupted?; December 18, 2008 3:38 AM

Since there are no PAR or PAR2 files that come with the download there is no way to fix the corrupted files!

I've tried on three different occasions to open the RAR files for the Flashaback ISO and it's just not working.

I have a reliable RAR program called Zipeg for the Mac that opens RAR files wonderfully WHEN they're NOT CORRUPT.

The Flashback DVD Booklet RAR file opens fine (with Zipeg, not the other two RAR extractors I tried), but the DVD disc files themselves are corrupt.

Is there any way a full, uncompressed copy of the DVD could be seeded to torrents? It would be appreciated if one of the webmasters or a forum member who has an uncompressed copy could put it up.

It's getting ridiculous to download the darn thing in 21 parts from Rapidshare and have it NOT open! It's not a password problem -- it's just that the files have been up long enough and have become corrupted on the Rapidshare servers.

Large strings of RAR files just all too often become corrupt or refuse to extract with many decompression programs. Far, far better to spend a week downloading an ISO file and have THAT WORK than to waste a day downloading RAR files that just don't decompress.

The lack of response AND action from from MacrossWorld and Macross Share does NOT reflect well on those sites, either. It's really frustrating for fans that want to look at this material...; December 29, 2008 7:55 PM

I just finished downloading The ISO Image and it´s fine, I'even burn a copy now. I don't know, man maybe you just fail downloading one file,or the program U use , I used WinRar, But you've MAC. And The boys of Macrosshare.com are Great just don't have the time to answer all the comments and remember this Blog is made by spanish talkers for all the fans of Macross around the world.
